“The composition’s subject is of my relationship to Formosa’s landscape; its history, its fauna, its flora and its magic. This is where my Germanic descendants emigrated to in the South of Brazil. The place is permeated with mystery, from its past, from its pious residents and from the land itself. Through the recordings I’ve made over the years I investigate notions of family, safety, emotional reciprocation with nature and what it means to belong.”
Adam Matschulat – Through the Cracks (2021)
Matschulat (noise, musique concrete)
“Matschulat offers a reverie through dramatic soundscapes filled with detailed nuances to disorientated junctures made of meticulously composed field-recording collages. Heavily inspired by Hyeronymus Bosch’s work and beautifully permeated with anguish, it is a piercing meeting of noise, musique concrete and acousmatic work.” – Heathen Harvest
Godasadog (alternative, trip-hop)
“Feelings of solitude, absence and longing are brought to the surface on Godasadog’s new single ‘Gaivota’.” – Tenho Mais Discos que Amigos
FMFL (dreampop)
“Functional Music for Lovers is the debut dreampop album from FMFL, if you’re looking for an electrifyingly cathartic mix, you’re in for an absolute treat, also a Theremin… who doesn’t love a Theremin?! The album progress with blissfully nostalgic tonality. Some of the tracks run a little more playfully than the more pensive tracks to the debut album, which gives the album a great diversity and makes it the perfect soundtrack to kick back to.”
